From the South: When entering Hamilton from the South (the airport, Te Awamutu, SH3 route), Dixon Road is the FIRST on the right. As you pass the Hamilton entry signs indicate a right turn to warn any following traffic. The turn is just around a corner and speeding traffic requires caution.
From the North, turn right at the first set of traffic lights and follow the western by-pass route. At the hospital traffic lights (where the hospital is up on the hill to your left) turn right onto the Ohaupo Road. Follow this through a roundabout, a set of lights, and a second roundabout until you pass the Glenview Hotel on your right. This is past the Glenview BP Service Station, and New World shopping centre. After passing the Glenview Hotel, Dixon Road is the first road on your left.
From the West, you join the western by-pass route, and head southwards (see instructions as if arriving from the North).
From the East and South East, follow Cobham Drive into the city and take the free left turn at the first set of traffic- lights after you cross Cobham bridge over the Waikato River. Follow Normandy avenue. Turn left at the roundabout where Normandy Avenue joins the Ohaupo Road. Follow this and when the Glenview Hotel appears on your right, you will find Dixon Road is the first on your left.
We are 1 km down Dixon Road. Turn right at the "T" intersection. We are about 300 m along on the left. Signs at the gate indicate Mitchell Kilt Hire. The end of the road is 30 metres or so farther on.
